The snow let up today. The morning brought some freezing rain still but it was mostly just a drizzle. The temperature warmed up today to about 35 F. Lighter winds 3mph coming from the northwest. No more snow accumulation anticipated, but there is a chance of snow fall later tonight. There was an overcast all day of stratus clouds.
Pretty stable conditions.

February 28th Weather
The winter storm that was expected came. The snow started around 2pm in the afternoon. It was a light flurry, and was not constant. Later in the evening the snowfall increased heavily. With winds of 12 mph coming from the SW the snow was a mixture of rain and snow. It was a freezing rain and sounded hard on the windows. The snow is very moist and packs well. The temperature is about 29 F, so it is not to chilly out.
The Colorado lows that caused this storm, has moved into Iowa now. As the temperature risings from the warmer air mass moving in with the SW winds the snow will turn into more freezing rain. My predictions for tomorrow is more snow fall but not as gusty of winds as today. Total snow accumulation will be about 3-5 inches.

Today's conditions were calm. The wind was a little bit chilly, but the sun shining all day kept it some what warmer.
Currently its 23F with 1mph winds from the South East. The calm before the storm.

Assignment One Links
Into my links I added, The Weather Channel and Unisys Weather, and The National Weather Service. I like the Weather Channel link because it gives news about current weather all around the nation, not just maps and forecasts. That makes weather more interesting. I also like it because it shows pictures of what the weather looks like in places. Its hard to see that from a map. I added the Unisys Weather link because I like the surface maps now that I know how to read them. The surface maps can give more detail in one map combined. I also added the National Weather Service link because it gives warnings of severe weather and the maps are color coded and easy to read. I will probably use the Weather Channel link the most just for checking the forecast for Eau Claire because you can add your city to get current local weather news and updates.

February 7th Weather
Today's weather was sunny and warm. There was no overcast. Brisk early morning temperatures, but then the high was 25. Currently it is 16 F. I predict tomorrow's weather will be very similar to today's. But this week the temperatures will cool down to typical February weather.

February 4th Weather
Today the weather was extremely pleasant for an early day in February. There was a lot fog this morning around 8am. This is probably due to all the snow evaporation from the high temperatures. The fog cleared and the rest of the day was sunny with nearly no clouds.
Wisconsin is all clear. Tonight will be a little cooler with a temperature of 20 F. There is a 20% chance of snow. Tomorrow's weather I predict will be similar to todays, with a high in the upper 30's and little to no cloud coverage.

February 1st Weather
Yesterday was so warm it did not feel like the last day of January in Wisconsin! Highs were around 43 F yesterday. Today it felt much cooler with complete cloud coverage preventing the sun from coming out. Highs were 38 F and lows were 29 F. There are some fog advisories out for tonight. No precipitation expected for the rest of the week, and temperatures shouldn't drop too low. Maybe the sun will come out for Groundhog Day tomorrow!
