March 12 Weather

The morning started out with some precipitation, as I predicted it would last night. The rain did not last through out the day though.  Sunny skies peeked through the cumulonimbus clouds that were in the sky. There is a cold front coming in from the west so I predict tomorrow will be a little cooler then today was.   The temperature is currently 25 F with winds 3mph from the NE.  We can expect some more precipitation coming.

March 11 Weather

This was one of those March weather days that we don't see very often in this area. Overnight temperatures only increased as the day progressed. There was spotted cloud cover with winds gusting at times. Winds were coming out of the east at about 5-10 miles per hour. These current conditions could lead us to see some precipitation. I think that tonight and tomorrow we will probably experience some rain, followed by some warmer temperatures later this week. Here is a look at the current weather in the United States.

March 8th Weather

Today started out will no clouds and sunny skies.  By mid afternoon there was an overcast of stratus clouds and some snow flurries.  Tonight there was a shift in wind.  Now the wind is coming from NW at 18-27 mph gusts.  It is chilly at about 16 F, with a  20% chance of snow.  This is all probably due to the cold front right over Eau Claire. Tomorrow I predict it will warm up just a little with clear skies.

March 6th Weather

Due to the warm front coming in the temperatures are at a high of 59 F, with winds 1 mph from the South. With the sunny skies and haze over the sun this early morning and cirrus clouds, tomorrow will be rainy and still warm like a Spring day.

March 5th Weather

Today was colder then earlier anticipated.  The temperature is 25 F and winds are 5 mph from the SE.  There was a short snow fall of flurries today, but no accumulation. Snow fall will continue into the night.  Tomorrow the weather is going to be significantly higher with an anticipated temperature of 52 F. Most likely due to the Low pressure coming from north of North Dakota.

March 2nd Weather

Like the days prior to today there is an overcast of stratus clouds.  No snow as of yet. The south half of the state is seeing some rain snow mix due to the low pressure system in Illinois and the low pressure system in northern Minnesota.  My prediction of snow today is not coming true for Eau Claire.  The temperature is currently 35.6 and the winds are 4 mph from the NW. The barometric pressure is rapidly dropping today.

March 1st Weather

Today there was a continuous overcast of stratus clouds again just like yesterday.  Currently it has begun to snow again. The snow is big flakes. The current temperature is 32.2 F and the wind is 0 mph.  I expect there to be snow accumulation into tomorrow.
