Today temperatures are cool and rain is anticipated. There is a cold front passing through most of the country with a low pressure system right above Texas. This will produce some very servere storms for Tornado Alley. We will experience some of these storms too but not as servere. Eau Claire has a high barametric pressure but it is not changing so our weather will be like this for the next couple days. The jetstreams have no ridges or troughs but by the end of the day we should see the omega jet streams. The temperature is currently 40 F with little wind.

April 18th Weather
The morning started out with rain showers and gusty winds. By early afternoon there was mostly cloudy skies. The wind would blow the clouds quickly across the sky. The sun would be out for a couple mins at a time and then hidden again by all the clouds. By mid afternoon the skies cleared but where still partly cloudy. The clouds were cumulous nimbus. The storms that passed through Eau Claire is now an occluded front in norhern Michigan which means it is dying out. Right now there is clear skies with temperatures of 53 F. Tomorrow we can expect more rain showers and the temperature to reach 47 F.
