Links

Unisys

I like the Unisys Link because the surface maps are extremely interesting.  There is a lot of information on the maps including wind direction and speed, cloud coverage, high and low pressure systems, and fronts. I like being able to see how all these combined things act together.

Weather Channel

I like the Weather Channel link because of the surface maps as well.  They are less cluttered and are simple to read and understand.  Also this site gives news and videos about current weather happenings all around the nation which makes it more interesting.  You can focus on the nation as a whole and there is also local weather on this site too.

Eau Claire Forecast

I like the National Weather Service because this link gives warning of severe weather.  Going on with this semester I learned this is not always completely accurate because there is not a National Weather Station in Eau Claire and all the information comes from Minnesota.  The maps on this website are color coded and easy to read though which I like for those starting to read weather maps or who have no idea.

Eau Claire Current Conditions

This link is coming from the data collected on the roof of UWEC.  This is the nicest website to go to when you want to know current conditions in Eau Claire and is probably the most accurate.  I like the chart it gives since it is easy to read and you can find all the basic information you would want to know such as temperature, wind speed and direction, humidity, and rainfall.  This website also keeps an archive of data which helped a lot with the data analysis of the whole semester.
